Final Countdown To A New Chapter!
Hello Everyone! Unbelievable! Our last blog!! 40 days are almost gone!!! Amazing!!!!
Hallo zusammen, es ist unglaublich. Das ist unser letzter Blog. 40 Tage sind fast um und wir berichten euch von unserer letzten Woche.
벌써 마지막 블로그라니 믿을 수 가 없네요!! 40일이 거의 끝나가고 있어요 ~ 와우 !!!!
40日轉眼間就快完，今次已經係最後一篇blog lu！！！主嘅奇妙真係真係難以置信！
Roadtrip and family time :)
This week we hit the road and started our family trip. We drove along the east coast and the ocean. In our accomodations, we had the best sleep ever because we had the best beds ever! We saw lots of seals and witnessed the birthing scene of a baby seal on a blue signpost that was left on the rocks.
During one of our lunch times we met the seagulls. They started to attack us and were jealous about our food. One of them landed on Ye Jin’s head and then bowed its head and stole her cucumber. Then then they flew away as nothing happened. Emelie also got her cucumber stolen and spilled her mustard on Leonie. Seems seagulls really like to eat cucumbers.
We all enjoyed singing worship music in our van. But we are not free from hiking because there were still some short and easy walks (without our 70L backpacks!!!!!!) during the road trip. We enjoyed the orange sunrise, the blue ocean, the green grass, the pink mountains… and all the different colours and realised again how great our God is.
It’s like a great vacation for us to calm down to reflect on the last few weeks and our plans after OTG.
We also got a chance and a lot of time to share to our team members what we learned from our personal Bible reading time.
Rinatya: There is a red string of hope through the whole Bible. God’s plan is great!
Leonie: Even in desert times, God is working and holding His promises.
Salome: Are we praying constantly and what is our posture? Intentional Prayer.
Andy: Worship God in Spirit and in truth.
Ye Jin: Focusing on God, not the world (And how to speak Ecclesiastes :))
Emelie: Take a step back, and listen to the Lord.
Katy: Go and be a warrior when God is calling you - Make sure your faith is stronger than your doubt.
It was encouraging to hear and see how God is working in and through each of us.
After our road trip on Wednesday, we had one of our best team meetings. We celebrated a little Christmas Party as we sat around our Christmas tree. We played a few funny games and shared our Secret Santa gifts.
We also had our final dinner with the OTG Leadership team, and prayed as we all prepare to head out into our next season of life.

Please pray for safety of the flights back home and the trips some of us will do.
Please pray for our plans after OTG and that we can share what we learned.
Please pray also for next team and everything Christy and Norm have to prepare.
